Geert Vermeire [B/GR] . Curator, artist and writer, working and living between Greece, Portugal and Belgium, with as main field an artistic practice focused on the performative, mixed reality and social practices, with the body in public space, community involvement and ethical involvement of cultural action as key elements. His writing activity meets with immersive formats of arts and extends to an interdisciplinary and artistic research involving walking, stimulating creative collaborations among others between choreographers, sound artists, new media artists, architects and writers.
Rodrigo Paglieri [CL]
Rodrigo Paglieri nasceu em Santiago do Chile, viveu e trabalhou no Brasil de 1988 a 2018 e atualmente reside em Porto/Portugal onde é Professor Auxiliar Convidado no curso de Artes Visuais da Escola de Arquitetura da Universidade do Minho. Desde 2019 Paglieri é Doutor em Artes Visuais pelo PPGAV/EBA/UFRJ. Em 2018 Paglieri residiu em Barcelona onde desenvolveu sua pesquisa na Universitat de Barcelona como bolsista do PDSE da Capes. O artista/pesquisador é Mestre em Poéticas Contemporâneas pela UnB desde 2006 e graduou-se como Bacharel em Artes Visuais também na UnB em 1998. Paglieri tem desenvolvido seu trabalho em duas direções básicas; uma para fruição em galeria com produção de objetos acionados por mecanismos e video-instalações, e outra de intervenção urbana, voltada para espaços públicos. Foi fundador e integrante do coletivo Projeto de Arte Entorno, entre 2000 e 2004. Desde 1998, tem realizado exposições individuais; concebido, participado, colaborado e organizado, inúmeros eventos, tais como: Exposições Coletivas, Workshops, Cursos, Aulas Públicas ou Conferências. Recebeu prêmios e distinções estando representado em instituições e coleções privadas. A caminhada além de ser o foco da investigação poética na realização dos últimos trabalhos, foi, também, o objeto central da sua pesquisa de doutorado.
Rodrigo Paglieri was born in Santiago de Chile, lived and worked in Brazil from 1988 to 2018 and currently resides in Porto / Portugal where he is Assistant Professor in the Visual Arts course at the University of Minho School of Architecture. Since 2019 Paglieri holds a PhD in Visual Arts from PPGAV / EBA / UFRJ. In 2018 Paglieri resided in Barcelona where he developed his research at the University of Barcelona as a scholarship holder for the PDSE of Capes. The artist / researcher has a Master's Degree in Contemporary Poetics from UnB since 2006 and graduated as a Bachelor of Visual Arts also at UnB in 1998. Paglieri has developed his work in two basic directions; one for fruition in a gallery with the production of objects driven by evideo-installation mechanisms, and another for urban intervention, aimed at public spaces. He was a founder and member of the collective Projeto deArte Entorno, between 2000 and 2004. Since 1998, he has held individual exhibitions; conceived, participated, collaborated and organized, numerous events, such as: Collective Exhibitions, Workshops, Courses, Public Lessons or Conferences. He received awards and distinctions, being represented in institutions and private collections. The walk, in addition to being the focus of poetic investigation in carrying out the last works, was also the central object of his doctoral research.
